Those
are some information about Murter, and instructions how
to find us.
As you perhaps already know, Murter is an island connected
by the bridge with the mainland, and is situated about 50
km southeast from Zadar, and 30 km northwest from Šibenik
(pictures to the left). There are four places on the island
of Murter: Tisno (where the bridge is), Jezera, Betina and
Murter (as the name of island).
We are situated in the place Murter, which is the largest
place on the island. Murter consists of new part (with the
port and marina) and of an old village called Stari Murter.
Murter is a starting point for lot of tourists wishing to
see Kornati archipelago, but National park "Krka" is also
not so far. There are daily excursions to both destinations.
Murter gives you atmosphere of an island with an advantage
of the mainland, like connectivity. |

We are placed on the top of Stari Murter, in the vicinity of
the Sv. Rok church. It is about 3-4 km from the bridge in Tisno
to our house. Not so far (200 m) before the house there is a
crossroad to Betina and Murter. You have to drive left to Murter,
and then you will see on your right side a small church on top
of a hill (Sv. Rok church). Than you can see traffic sign
(plate) for the beginning of the place Murter (a small black
dash by the road on the plan) and the first street to the right
(about 50 m from the sign) is our Tisnjanska street. Our house,
"Apartments Kasic" is on the very beginning of that street,
just bellow the main road. So, we hope that it will not be so
hard to find us.
